Among the various issues that our team of family lawyers address, none is more important to us than the management of children matters.

During divorce or separation

This can be an especially difficult time for parents and children alike, so we are especially sensitive to the emotions involved. We always aim to put the children's interests first, and work hard to find a solution that is right for the family as a whole.

We can provide advice and representation if you are having difficulty in reaching agreement on residence and access to your children, or if you are experiencing problems in maintaining an existing agreement.

Usually the aim would be to maintain a child's relationship with both of their parents. Sometimes however, the children will want a different outcome so all parties will need to work a bit harder to reach a satisfactory conclusion.

Guardianship of children

For court-appointed guardians, we can provide legal advice on child protection and court representation for the child you are acting for.
