Dealing with Child Protection Matters
Our Family department has years of experience of dealing with child protection matters, acting for guardians and parents and assisting schools. We can:
- advise on social services investigations, including share of, and access to, information about children
- advise on the legal effect and implications of both private (residence and contact) and public (care and interim care) orders
- manage media interest in child protection cases, particularly where it impacts on the welfare of the child
- advise schools on the application of reporting restrictions in child protection cases.
