Pensions seminar celebrates 75 years of business partnerships

hc solicitors, will be hosting a lunchtime seminar on changes to pensions legislation on 21 April at the Conference Suite in their Peterborough offices. Speaking at the seminar will be Steve Bee, Head of Pensions Strategy at Scottish Life and one of the country’s most respected pensions experts. Steve will explain the forthcoming changes which will require all companies to have a contributory pension scheme in place by 2012.

hc were founded in April 1934 by local solicitor Jack Hunt when he opened a practice under the name Hunt in Westgate, Peterborough and have provided legal services for local businesses, families and individuals ever since. They will celebrate their 75th anniversary with local businesses by running a series of seminars on the theme of business partnerships. The first of these, featuring Steve Bee, is being conducted in partnership with Lucas Fettes, Financial Advisers.

Also planned for later this year is a seminar on Corporate Manslaughter in conjunction with THB Insurance brokers, a seminar on surviving the recession with Moore Stephens Accountants and a further seminar featuring financial commentator, Justin Urquhart Stewart, in conjunction with Cowens insurers.
