We can advise you on drawing up legal agreements before getting married or moving in together which will help to protect your assets in the event of the relationship dissolving in the future by drawing up a pre-nuptial or cohabitation agreement.
Living Together
Divorce and Separation
We can provide advice on the options available if a relationship is facing difficulties and can act for you if you decide to seek a divorce or separation. Three of our team are members of the Collaborative Family Law group and if you wish we can help you and your partner to reach agreements without having to go to court. Three of our team have accreditations from Resolution in dealing with complex financial agreements and high value pension divisions on divorce or separation.
Arrangements for children
We can provide advice and representation if you are having difficulty in reaching agreement on access to your children or you are experiencing problems in maintaining an existing access agreement.
Guardianship of children
For court-appointed Guardians, we can provide legal advice on child protection and court representation for the child you are acting for.
Validating your marriage
Marriages undertaken abroad may not always be valid in UK law. We can establish the validity of your marriage and advise you on how to proceed if it is not currently valid.
