Alejandro leads the hc solicitors' Spanish Legal Services team. He is a Spanish solicitor who has worked in Spain dealing with property, commercial and banking law. He is qualified in Spain in 1994 and has a phD in Spanish Tax Law. more»

Catherine completed a degree in Law, specialising in European Legal Studies at the University of Durham. As part of this degree, she studied law in France for a year at the Université de Rouen in Normandy. more»

Marilo is a Paralegal with a Diploma in Spanish Property Law - 'Tecnicas Immobiliaria'. She is a Spanish national who is fluent in English. more»

Alejandro is a registered European lawyer and Abogado. He moved to the UK in 2004 and will be undergoing exams to also become a qualified English solicitor in 2010/2011.

- You own a property in Spain and would like us to carry out a Health check to ensure that all is well with the legal status of your property

Catherine completed a degree in Law, specialising in European Legal Studies at the University of Durham. As part of this degree, she studied law in France for a year at the Université de Rouen in Normandy.
After attending Nottingham Law School in 2006, Catherine joined hc in 2007 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 2009, joining the Dispute Resolution department to deal with a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters. Catherine also provides assistance to the Spanish Legal Services and Employment teams.
Specifically, Catherine can advise on:
- Avoiding and recovering debt for businesses
- Insolvency law – Catherine can advise you if you are thinking of entering into bankruptcy, or if your company can no longer pay the debts that it owes. Catherine can also provide advice about how to start insolvency proceedings, and what will happen when a person or company become insolvent.
- European cases involving the recovery of cross-border debt – Catherine can help you to recover sums that are owed to you if there are no assets in the United Kingdom, but there are some elsewhere in the European Union.
- Contract disputes – if you have paid for goods or services that you haven’t received, Catherine can advise you on the strength of your case and how best to move forward to claim damages or specific performances.
- Disputes over inheritance and the validity of Wills – if there is a problem with a Will, or if you do not believe you have received the inheritance that you should have, Catherine can advise you on the strength of your case and how best to move forward to make a claim.
- Employment law – Catherine provides assistance to the Employment team in relation to contentious matters.
