Hunt & Coombs go to Rio!
This year’s theme for our annual event at the Peterborough Beer Festival was Carnival and Rio. Carnival designed banners, beer mats and decorations adorned the venue to bring some of the Rio (and Olympic) atmosphere to Peterborough and provided the setting for us to say thanks, celebrate with friends, colleagues, clients and contacts of Hunt & Coombs with some very tasty Real Ale, fantastic Rio inspired food and to have fun in our Pea Shooting competition – well done to all those who took part and to Marcus Brailsford from PPS for winning (it wasn’t easy!). The event also gave us a good opportunity to introduce new staff and showcase our new office which opened recently in St Neots.
Partners & Staff of Hunt & Coombs would like to thank all that attended and hope that you all enjoyed the evening as much as we did, there certainly wasn’t much beer left at the end of the night!
We would also like to thank Tony Martin from Cooks Catering for the marvellous Rio inspired food and for arranging the guest appearance from Carmen Miranda (see below)!
Well done also to staff of Hunt & Coombs who helped setup and look after the guests, act as door security and cleared up – great job.
Thanks also to Noel Ryland and team from CAMRA as without his expertise and knowledge of setting up the firkins of ale we would have had some very thirsty guest. The beers chosen for the event went down very well and below is the chosen real ales and ciders for the evening, we recommend you try them all (responsibly of course!):
