Aprenda Ltd, a leading UK electrical engineering service provider has been acquired by the BRUSH Group.
Aprenda, which operates from its main office in St Neots, offers specialist solutions in the design, construction and commissioning of high voltage electrical infrastructure projects, particularly focused within the UK power distribution network. The sale of Aprenda comes after a period of rapid growth, following several years of strong development under the leadership of Aprenda’s two director-shareholders, who have owned and operated Aprenda since 2011.
The BRUSH Group, known globally as the world’s largest manufacturer of generators above 20MVA, has a long history serving power generation customers with a comprehensive range of products and services. The acquisition of Aprenda will complement the existing services of the BRUSH Group and provide a market leading design engineering platform from which to build new product offerings and services.
Olivia Chalmers advised the shareholders on the legal aspects of the transaction, the terms of which have not been disclosed. Benchmark International operated as deal broker. The BRUSH Group were advised by Gateley Legal.
