Firm retains Lexcel certification – quality mark for standards of compliance, case management and client care.
Hunt & Coombs retained its Lexcel certification – the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for standards in England and Wales. In September, the assessor audited and assessed the firm against standards in areas such as case management, risk management and client care. We are extremely proud to announce that we have received full Lexcel accreditation for the 17th year running.
Hunt & Coombs was first awarded the Lexcel accreditation in 2006 and we have worked hard to keep it. The accreditation lasts for three years with an annual maintenance visit to check we are keeping up our high standards. This year was our maintenance visit year and we are delighted with the results.
The firm received recognition of good practice and a glowing report from the auditor making the hard work worth it. “The Practice should continue to be highly commended for sustaining a very high level of compliance against the Lexcel standard. Indeed, compliance levels have been consistently sustained now over a number of visits.”
Being Lexcel accredited has had a strongly positive impact on Hunt & Coombs and has helped us to attract new business over the years. Through the Lexcel framework we have focused on client satisfaction and retention; managed risk effectively; achieved compliance with new practice rules and regulatory requirements; and increased efficiency.
