Corporate Social Responsibility

Since the firm was founded in 1934, founder, Jack Hunt provided court representation free at a time when there was no legal aid for those that needed it most. He also passionately endorsed education which is why Jack Hunt School in Peterborough is named after him.

Since the firm was established we have maintained a sense of social responsibility and although many firms are now focusing on serving high-value clients only we intend to continue to represent the whole community.

Following in the tradition of our founder, Hunt & Coombs believe in ethical trading and business practice and attempt to fulfil a responsible position in the following areas:


Every year our staff vote for two charities, one local and one national. We have a Charity Committee who arrange fundraising events for staff and family to get involved and help to reach our target. This year we are supporting and fundraising for:
