Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
Providing aid for refugees and displaced people from Ukraine
We're supporting the Disasters Emergency Committee's appeal to help provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection for refugees and displaced people from Ukraine.
More than a million people have fled their homes to escape conflict in Ukraine and now face an uncertain future. They have left their homes with only the items they were able to carry.
Huge numbers of people are arriving at Ukraine’s borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova where there are long waits to cross. There are scant facilities waiting for them on the other side and temperatures are dropping below freezing overnight.
The DEC, made up of 15 UK member charities, who are experts in humanitarian aid and specialise in disaster response, have launched their appeal to raise much needed funds for providing food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection.
How to help
We're supporting the appeal for Ukraine and neighbouring countries meeting the needs of all refugees and displaced people with donations. If you would like to find out more about the appeal and help by donating, please visit our JustGiving site.
