Café Coombs opens its doors

For a spooktacular Halloween lunch

Hunt & Coombs social committee open cafe coombs

Café Coombs opened for business again today to serve a lunch with a chilling Halloween twist. The Social Committee (who organised the event) invited staff to enjoy an array of spooktacular goodies and refreshments, including cakes, sweets and treats.

The staff were asked to make a small donation to participate in the lunch which also included a Halloween TV & Movie Quiz and a “can you guess the number of sweets in the pumpkin” game. Andrea Harrod, from our Wills, Trusts & Probate team, won the sweets after a tie with another member of staff when both guessed the correct answer of 202 (a coin was tossed to determine the winner!). Well done Andrea and don’t eat them all at once!

The Social Committee will be announcing the winners of the Halloween TV & Movie Quiz on Monday. The lucky winners will be receiving their prizes which may or may not be an eye of newt and toe of frog. Well done, in advance to the winners as this is quite an achievement considering how difficult the questions were!

Well done to all the organisers and helpers of today’s lunch and those that attended in making Café Coombs once again a success.

If you would like to join Hunt & Coombs and be part of our team, maybe to start or progress your career in law, please take a look at our latest job vacancies or send your CV to our HR & Admin Manager.

Have a great Halloween everyone.
