Olivia qualified as a solicitor in March 2017 and has chosen to pursue a legal specialism in Company Commercial work. Olivia assists on a range of corporate and commercial matters including the preparation of commercial agreements, company formation and general company law advice. Olivia also has experience of corporate transactions and can assist with both share and asset acquisitions and disposals. Olivia was educated locally at Peterborough High School. Her path to a legal career began in July 2007 here at Hunt & Coombs Solicitors when she joined on a work experience placement at the age of sixteen. Olivia spent time with several of our teams and participated in a variety of interesting legal tasks and activities. The placement affirmed Olivia’s intentions to pursue a legal career and she went on to study for her Law and European Legal Studies degree at the University of Kent, with a year spent at the University of Vienna.

Following graduation, Olivia was keen to return to Hunt & Coombs and re-joined the firm in July 2014 as a Paralegal in the Residential Property team. She undertook this position whilst also studying part time in Cambridge for the Legal Practice Course. Olivia then commenced her training contract with us in September 2015 with a strong focus on company commercial work. Olivia is pleased to have now qualified into the commercial team and is looking forward to progressing further in her legal career.

Olivia says:

“I have always regarded Hunt & Coombs as a key player in Peterborough’s legal market. I knew from my first experience with Hunt & Coombs as a work experience student that this was a place at which I could learn and progress. During my training contract I have received excellent training from some of the city’s most well regarded legal practitioners. I am delighted to have now qualified and been offered a position to remain with Hunt & Coombs in the Commercial Team. It is an exciting time as Hunt & Coombs continues to grow and I am looking forward to developing my skills further and helping to play a part in a successful future for Hunt & Coombs Solicitors.”
