For private wealth lawyers Sally Power and Sallyann Short and family lawyer Hannah Byatt
We are delighted to announce the promotion of three of our highly experienced and respected lawyers, Hannah Byatt, Sally Power and Sallyann Short, to Partner.
Hannah joined Hunt & Coombs in 2018 as an Associate bringing with her fourteen years’ experience in family work in Cambridgeshire. She specialises in supporting her clients through divorces and children matters and in 2020, she passed the core assessment of the Resolution Specialist Accreditation Scheme with a view to becoming a family mediator and collaborative lawyer. In 2021, Hannah was asked to head up the Hunt & Coombs office in St Neots and will be charged with developing the profile of the office. Hannah said “I am delighted to have been promoted to Partner at Hunt & Coombs. I joined the firm 3 years ago, as I wanted to work for a dynamic and thriving firm, where I could develop my skills, expertise and my career. I have learnt so much from the team around me, and been given some fantastic opportunities. I’m looking forward to being able to support my local community in St Neots as well as being able to contribute to the management and growth of the firm.”
Sally joined Hunt & Coombs in 2020 as an Associate in the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team in Oundle. After qualifying as a solicitor in 1997, Sally has had a diverse career in both legal services and commercial business. She specialises in all aspects of private wealth law and is a qualified Trust & Estates Practitioner (TEP) and a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She now heads up the Hunt & Coombs’ Oundle office and said “I am pleased to have been promoted to Partner at Hunt & Coombs, working in the friendly and inclusive team. Hunt & Coombs is a progressive firm and I look forward to playing an active role in its continued success. In addition to my legal experience I bring an added commercial dimension having been director of a well-regarded business during my career and I look forward to using my commercial skills to consolidate and grow our offering in Oundle.”
Sallyann joined Hunt & Coombs Solicitors in April 2020 and specialises in private wealth. Sallyann started her career as an Independent Financial Adviser and holds the Diploma in Financial Services. She then qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and worked in Cambridge for many years. She advises high net worth individuals, non-domiciled individuals, farmers, business owners and their families or estates on all aspects of wealth management and planning. Sallyann will be heading up the Hunt & Coombs Huntingdon and Cambridge offices for private wealth “I am truly delighted at becoming a partner at Hunt & Coombs. It is a lovely firm to be part of and I am looking forward to further developing our service-offering in and around Huntingdon and strengthening our relationships in the community.”
