For highly experienced dispute resolution lawyer Helen Townsend
We are delighted to announce the promotion of our highly experienced dispute resolution lawyer, Helen Townsend, to Partner.
Helen joined Hunt & Coombs as an associate solicitor and team leader for the Commercial Litigation Team in early 2020. She has worked for regional firms and brought 20 years of dispute resolution experience to the firm.
Helen said of the promotion “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity of becoming a Partner of Hunt & Coombs Solicitors. When I started my career 20 years ago, it was my aspiration to become a partner and I do not believe that I could have asked for a better firm to have done that in. When I met with the Senior Partner at interview I felt that, more than any other firm, they were prepared to support my career and had a clear system for progression. Since joining the firm in January 2020, they have mentored me and made me feel a valued member of the team. I look forward to bringing new ideas to the firm, particularly in respect to dispute resolution which I am passionate about and I also look forward to continuing working hard for my clients, using my experience and expertise to achieve the best solution for their cases.”
Helen advises partnerships, PLC’s, limited companies, SMEs and sole-traders on a broad range of complex commercial disputes. She is experienced in commercial contracts, professional negligence, property litigation and debt recovery and her clients come from a range of sectors including farming, insurance, entertainment and construction.
