Legal 500 Results 2012

The Legal 500 2012 edition, released just last week, places Hunt and Coombs Solicitors as a 1st tier firm in ‘Crime’ for the third year running in the East Anglia region.

‘One of the few firms that puts proper effort into the practical side of litigation, Hunt & Coombs Solicitors stands out for its expertise in mental health law, and recently handled a £1m fraud case. Simon Milburn is trusted, respected and experienced, and Andrew Cave fights his client’s corner with gusto’.

Hunt & Coombs have continued their high ranking within the Peterborough region as a 1st tier firm for ‘Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate’ and have been placed in the 2nd tier for the whole of East Anglia.

The knowledgeable and professional Henry Anstey at Hunt & Coombs Solicitors has ‘extensive knowledge’ of wills, trusts and probate. Clients also praise Robina Pighills’ ability to ‘deal clearly and patiently with all queries’………Peter Izod and Paddy Appleton……have a growing workload for estates involving cross-border elements.’

Other notable successes were the step up for Commerical litigation to a 1st tier firm elsewhere in East Anglia, making particular reference to Hunt & Coombs being 'friendly, professional and efficient’ and being one of the ‘few firms handling European enforcement work. Particular reference was made to ‘.....Catherine Sandbach, who advised General & Medical Finance in a breach of contract claim.’
