We are extremely proud to have once more received top tier recommendations in the Legal 500 UK 2016. A rigorous process of assessment was followed where testimonials were scrutinised and specialist researchers provided independent assessments before making their recommendations.

We are delighted to have received ‘Top Tier’ recommendations in Corporate and Commercial, Crime: fraud, Crime: general, Personal tax, trusts and probate: Peterborough, Personal tax, trusts and probate: Elsewhere in East Anglia , and Real Estate – Commercial property. Six of our lawyers are listed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyers’ list – the Legal 500 UK 2016’s guide to outstanding lawyers: Denis White, Farhana Butt, Naina Tilney, Anna Spriggs, Andrew Cave and Simon Milburn. This is a credit to each individual but also to the teams that work with them.

Senior Partner, Denis White, commented on the results saying “We are tremendously proud of our achievement in the Legal 500 this year. To have received top tier status in so many areas and to have 6 of our lawyers listed in the elite ‘Leading Lawyer’ list as well as 21 in the recommended list is a fantastic achievement and our best result to date. Our lawyers and support staff work enormously hard to exceed the expectations of their clients and these results reflect our expertise and their commitment.”

The Corporate and Commercial team were delighted with the result, demonstrating their extensive experience and impeccable client care: Hunt & Coombs LLP has a large client base in the retail sector and Anna Spriggs is a trusted adviser to many commercial and ecclesiastical enterprises. He advised on tax planning for an £8m estate. ‘Highly personable’ legal executive Jenny Newell is also recommended.

Particular praise was given to the Personal Injury Team, who are ranked tier 2 in the whole of East Anglia for both claimant and defendant work.
