The current situation is that no court cases apart from people in custody are being dealt with by the criminal justice system. If people have court hearings listed then they are likely to be turned away from the court and advised that the court will write to them in due course with a new date.

If you have a court hearing coming up or have received paperwork regarding a case where you are representing yourself and you wish to have some support, we are able to assist: we can attend the court on your behalf particularly if you are self-isolating or unfit to attend court in person; and we will communicate with the courts to assist in the relisting of matters to ensure people don't miss court cases and have a warrant issued for their arrest.

Legal Aid may be available to help people with cases, however if you do not qualify for Legal Aid we will be able to give you a fixed price to deal with your enquiry or case. We have technology that enables us to deal with the courts and take instructions for individuals in a variety of ways which can progress the case without the need for face-to-face contact at the present time.
