Claire Thorne joined Hunt & Coombs in April 2023, as Risk and Compliance Manager. As a senior lawyer, Claire brings varied experience of regulatory and compliance landscapes to her role managing the firm’s compliance and regulatory responsibilities.

Claire has over 25 years of post-qualified experience. She has worked as an employment solicitor in a large national practice, as an in-house employment/education law solicitor and prior to joining Hunt & Coombs, led the legal, compliance and regulatory function at a day and boarding school, advising across several regulatory arenas including education, data protection and child protection.
