Faith is a solicitor and higher rights advocate in the Crime and Defence Team. Her work includes representing clients at the magistrates' court and at the police station.
Faith qualified as a solicitor in March 2020 following completion of her training contract at a firm in London. During her training contract she worked in criminal defence, housing and welfare benefits.
Prior to this, she worked as a criminal defence paralegal at a firm in Leicester managing a caseload of serious and complex cases.
Faith studied her law degree and legal practice course at Nottingham Trent University. As part of her degree, Faith undertook a placement year working for a large firm based in Nottingham undertaking Magistrates and Crown Court casework.
Faith has represented clients in Employment and Social Security Tribunals on a pro bono basis through the Free Representation Unit. Faith has also worked for a healthcare regulator presenting cases in fitness to practise proceedings.
Faith is a committee member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers - an organisation that campaigns for sustainable legal aid and promotes social mobility within the legal aid sector.
