James Sorrell is a solicitor in the Wills, Trusts and Probate department, having joined Hunt & Coombs in September 2026.

He achieved his law degree from the University of Hull and then went on to complete his Masters in law from BBP University. In 2023, James qualified as a Private Client solicitor and managed a team of fee earners in the third largest Probate provider in the country.

James can support you with Probate and estate administration, the preparation of Wills and LPAs, estate planning and the provision of trust advice.

He is committed to providing clear guidance with a focus on client care and compassion whilst being informative.

Interests

In his spare time, James enjoys watching football and rugby. He is a keen Newcastle United fan. He spends time with his family and friends, in particular walking his dog alongside his wife and daughter.
