John Scott BA (Hons)

John joined Hunt & Coombs as a Partner and Notary Public in April 2025. He is a solicitor with over 16 years experience in the legal profession. John initially qualified in to the commercial property department before expanding his role in to corporate transactions. John has worked on multi million pound corporate restructuring deals, partnerships, mergers and acquisitions as well as management buy outs.

John has said his favourite part of the job is getting to know his clients, their business and aspirations for the future which he believes helps him to provide a better and more personal service to his clients.

Given the international nature of many clients businesses and personal lives, John also qualified as a notary public 3 years ago and is able to offer clients assistance on documentation when dealing in foreign jurisdictions.
