Joseph qualified as a Solicitor on 1 February 2019 and will continue working in our Wills, Trusts and Probate Team at our Peterborough office.

Joseph has been involved with the full range of services offered by the team, including the preparation of Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney, estate and tax planning, obtaining Grants of Probate and administering post-death estates.  Joseph has gained particular expertise with the new Residential Nil Rate Band Inheritance Tax allowance and its practical applications, and notable experience in incapacity and care matters, including NHS Continuing Healthcare assessments and Court of Protection applications.

Joseph began his legal studies with the Open University, where he gained a first class Law Degree. This was followed by a distinction on the Legal Practice Course with the University of Law. Between graduation and commencing his postgraduate studies, Joseph worked in the legal sector in the Netherlands, where he lived for some months. He has otherwise always lived and worked in the Cambridgeshire area.

Joseph joined Hunt & Coombs in October 2016 as a Paralegal in the Family Team, before commencing a training contract in April 2017. He continued in the Family Team as a Trainee Solicitor, before rotating to our Litigation Team and then finishing his training in our Wills, Trusts and Probate Team, where he will now continue as a qualified Solicitor.
