Lauren Godfrey LLB

Lauren qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and has experience of advising clients on a broad range of disputes. She has extensive experience in contentious probate matters involving contesting Wills, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and trust and estate disputes. Lauren has recently successfully completed the ACTAPS course to become a recognised specialist in contentious probate matters.

She also has experience in contentious court of protection matters, as well as financial abuse matters. She can assist in care funding and contract disputes and challenges to NHS Continuing Healthcare eligibility decisions.

Lauren also has experience in a wide range of property disputes including trusts of land, co-ownership disputes, possession and occupation disputes and landlord and tenant matters.

She has experience in resolving disputes through negotiation and mediation as well as pursuing matters through the Court where necessary.

Lauren takes a pragmatic and client focused approach. She works closely with clients to understand their priorities and provides straightforward advice to identify the most effective route to resolution.

Interests

Outside of work Lauren enjoys spending time with her young family, long walks with her dog and travelling.
