Luke Edwards joined Hunt & Coombs as a Solicitor in March 2023, having spent two years working in the Dispute Resolution Department of a law firm with offices across Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. Luke was promoted to the role of Associate in October 2025.
Luke obtained his LLB (Hons) degree at Swansea University and completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law in Surrey before undertaking his training contract at a regional firm in the South East in 2018.
Luke has experience acting for and advising businesses and individuals on a range of civil practice matters, including disputes pertaining to:
- debt recovery;
- consumer rights;
- breach of contract;
- contentious probate;
- lease forfeiture and enforceability;
- commercial section 25 & section 26 lease renewal disputes;
- residential section 8 & section 21 possession claims;
- boundary disputes and claims for adverse possession;
- covenants, rights of way and other easement disputes; and
- Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 applications.
As well as conducting a number of claims issued in the County Court and High Court, Luke has experience in effectively representing parties in Alternative Dispute Resolution (notably Mediation).
Luke aims to take a clear and proactive approach to all disputes, whilst ensuring that his clients are kept fully apprised throughout.
In the 2026 Legal 500 Guide, Luke is recognised as a Leading Associate and praised for being ‘professional, knowledgable and helpful in all aspects.’
Interests
Outside of work, Luke enjoys attending West End theatre, keeping active at his local gym, and travelling.
