Martin is a Senior Solicitor and a member of the Crime and Defence and Mental Health teams. Martin commenced his legal career in law in 1985. He attended the College of Law in York qualifying as a Solicitor in 1994. He joined Waller, Needham and Green in 1985 where he was a Partner and stayed until 2011. He joined Richard Brown & Co in 2011 as self-employed and stayed there until 2017, when he joined Hunt & Coombs as a Senior Solicitor.
Martin undertakes all aspects of criminal law and has experience of both defence and prosecution work. He is also a Duty Solicitor for the Magistrates Court and local police stations. He is currently working towards being accredited by the Law Society to represent patients at Mental Health Review Tribunals. He has conducted large caseloads of Crown Court work including numerous murder cases, complex fraud cases and proceeds of crime cases.
