Criminal Caseworker | Peterborough
Nikita Manley joined Hunt & Coombs in February 2026 as a Criminal caseworker. She is based in our Peterborough office in the Crime & Defence team.
Following graduating from University Centre Peterborough with a degree in Criminology in 2023, Nikita continued her studies and passed the Police Station Accreditation. She is currently undertaking a Graduate Solicitors Apprenticeship with the College of Legal Practice, which in turn will provide Nikita a pathway to qualify as a Solicitor after completing her Solicitors Qualifying Exams.
Nikita has gained valuable experience working as a Paralegal and in supporting roles in Magistrates and Crown Court departments at local Solicitors. This has enabled Nikita to support clients as cases progress and be a reliable first point of contact throughout the preparation of cases.
Nikita is able to assist with:
• Taking instructions from clients;
• Briefing Counsel and liaising with them in relation to the progress of cases;
• Assisting with the drafting of Court applications;
• Securing Legal Aid Funding;
• Securing positive outcomes at the Police Station;
• Liaising with clients; and
• Liaising with the Courts.
Outside of work, Nikita enjoys spending time with friends and family. Travelling and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
