Richard Johnson

Richard Johnson is the Director of Finance and IT at Hunt & Coombs. He gained a degree in Economics at the University of Reading in 1987 and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with a top tier firm in 1992.

Since qualifying Richard has worked in finance across a variety of business sectors including electric goods distribution, marketing services and professional services. Prior to joining Hunt & Coombs Richard was the Finance Director for a large national crop protection distributor for 12 years.

Richard brings with him the experience of working with and leading teams for many years in the private sector across different sized organisations. Since joining Hunt & Coombs in April 2022 he has been working as part of the Senior Management Team to help the next stage of the development of the business.
