Sally Power joined Hunt & Coombs in 2020 as an Associate in the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team in Oundle. Sally qualified as a solicitor in 1997 after obtaining an LLB (Hons) degree from Reading University and her LPC from the College of Law in Guildford.

Sally was educated locally but built her career in the South-West and then the Thames Valley. During that time she had a break from legal practice culminating in her setting up her own well-regarded legal recruitment business for ten years. Sally then went back to legal work joining at a boutique private client firm in Oxfordshire, The Burnside Partnership. She then moved back to Cambridgeshire where she joined Beacon Wealth Legal in St Neots as the Head of Private Client across the firm’s four offices.

Sally is experienced in working with people from a wide range of backgrounds including partners, directors, business owners, chief executive officers and private individuals – and has worked for a diverse client base including large companies, SME’s, owner managed businesses, start-ups, not for profit organisations and private individuals.

Sally is a qualified Trust & Estates Practitioner (TEP), a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of the Law Society Private Client Section. She specialises in all aspects of private client law (Wills, probate, estate planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters).

Testimonials

"Sally Power was everything a good advisor should be - up to speed with her subject, clear in her advice and easy to get on with."

"Sally is incredibly knowledgeable. She is also very kind and approachable, which is great for more vulnerable clients."

We wanted to go to a local company and went on Facebook and asked for recommendations. Hunt & Coombs came up and this why we chose them. Due to Covid 19 and lockdown our initial meeting was from home via link, even that was excellent service, felt like we were listened to and Sally Power understood our requirements. We cannot improve anything. Very happy.

I have already recommended Sally Power or anyone at Hunt & Coombs because I had such a good experience. The service was professional, I was kept updated and my Will went through really quickly. I am very impressed with the service I received.

The service was excellent, Sally could not have been more helpful, professional and efficient.

I am very glad that I came to your service. Sally has dealt with me with kindness and courtesy, I can't thank her enough. I thank you all.

Sally Power has the ability to simplify complex legal issues whilst ensuring that actions taken in one sphere do not impact on those made elsewhere in sometimes complex interactions. I have complete faith in her support and advice, a refreshing change from my experience of the legal profession elsewhere.

We were really impressed by the speed and helpfulness of your service. The solicitor we were referred to, Sally Power, knew exactly what questions to ask to help us frame our Wills. We had an initial Zoom meeting with her, then (at our request) a follow-up meeting face-to-face which we found very helpful.
