At some point in our lives many of us will end up in a hard-to-resolve dispute with someone – whether it is with an employer, a neighbour, a tenant or someone we are doing business with. Our Dispute Resolution team will help you to resolve that dispute either by negotiation or, if necessary, court action.
We can help with the following:
We can help and advise if you have been issued with a County Court Judgement (CCJ) and need further information or guidance or if you wish to dispute a CCJ and make an application to the Court to set the Judgement aside.
We can assist with the recovery of monies owed to you as a result of theft or breach of contract including loans etc.
We can advise you on how to deal with disputes arising from consumer related contracts.
We can advise you on disputes relating to the construction of residential property.
We can advise you if you feel that a professional you have employed has been negligent or if you are a professional yourself against whom an allegation of negligence has been made.
We can act for you in matters concerning applications for orders for sale (TOLATA), possession proceedings, dilapidation claims, agricultural tenancy matters and boundary disputes.
We can advise and assist you in relation to disputes which may arise following the death of a family member or in relation to the administration of an estate. We can also advise in relation to claims for financial provision from an estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and in relation to the removal of executors/personal representatives and trustees from their positions should issues arise.
