New site focused on best user experience
We are delighted to announce that we have launched our new website (https://www.hcsolicitors.co.uk/) focused on best user experience. The new site is a great source of information about the firm and the expertise we offer to clients as well as being a fantastic resource for information on legal issues.
We believe that the new site reflects our mission – to deliver a high quality and personal legal service, exceeding clients’ needs and expectations and maintain a sound and viable firm which is enjoyable to work in, demonstrates our values and delivers client satisfaction through teamwork and excellence.
The old site was launched in 2014 and went through some developments in response to user experience. The site worked extremely well for the firm with visitors, clients and employees regularly citing great content as the reason for approaching the firm. However, the site was starting to look and feel dated and in need of some major development work.
We identified a number of potential developers to work with and after a rigorous vetting process, chose to work with a creative digital agency called Tela (https://tela.uk/), who have a wealth of experience working in the professional services sector. Working collaboratively with the team at Tela, we identified the four main objectives for the new site:
Best user and visitor experience
We wanted to build a site with modern design incorporating our branding and provides exceptional user experience and showcases our people and services. The key page template structures were designed following detailed analysis of the user journeys so that the new architecture better positions the content for users as they navigate the website.
Employee engagement
We wanted to deliver a site that all employees could have pride in and depend on as a useful resource internally and with their clients. It was also imperative for the site to reflect our values: professional, friendly, sustainable and collaborative.
Latest website development technology
The site is made to last with a modern and responsive design and hosting environment which will incorporate new technology and development easily.
Improved search engine optimisation
Making use of latest development and technology will help us improve our online presence further and reach more people in need of our legal expertise.
