Laura Margott LLB

Laura Margott qualified as a solicitor in March 2018 and joined Hunt & Coombs in January 2021.

Laura specialises in commercial property and advises a broad range of clients including individuals, partnerships and limited companies on matters such as:

• freehold and leasehold sales and purchases;
• commercial lease work including new leases, extensions, renewals and assignments; and
• advising borrowers and lenders in relation to property finance transactions.

Laura began her legal career in Residential Property at a law firm in East Sussex. She undertook her training contract at the firm, completing seats in residential and commercial property; litigation; and corporate and commercial, before relocating back to the local area where she grew up.

Laura achieved First Class Honours in Law and a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University in Leicester, being awarded the highest grade of her year group on both courses.
