We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Rebecca Beynon-Phillips, an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, to join our busy Dispute Resolution Team. Rebecca joined us in January as a Senior Associate, with a wealth of experience in commercial litigation at a City of London firm.

Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in 2007 after completing her (Hons) at The London School of Economics and achieving her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. She has experience in advising a diverse range of clients including corporates, limited companies, SME’s and individuals, across a broad range of commercial disputes. Although she has plenty of general commercial litigation experience, Rebecca has developed particular expertise in property litigation, professional negligence and debt recovery.

Rebecca is able to advise clients on contractual disputes; property matters (forfeiture, lease extensions and renewals, dilapidations claims, landlord and tenant issues, boundary disputes and repossessions); professional negligence claims (including claims against valuers, solicitors and accountants); debt recovery and insolvency; and enforcement action.

She has experience in the County Courts, High Court and First Tier Tribunal and has achieved numerous settlements for clients, both pre-action and during the litigation process. Rebecca is a pragmatic solicitor who will explore the practical as well as legal solutions to a client’s dispute.

Rebecca commented on her appointment saying “I am delighted to join Hunt & Coombs and its fantastic dispute resolution team. It is an exciting time to be joining this expanding and forward-thinking firm, which has an excellent reputation and strong client base. I am looking forward to assisting the firm in building its offering further with my background in property litigation and professional negligence, an area we expect to grow given the current economic climate.”

We work immensely hard to exceed the expectations of our clients and our growth reflects the level of service and commitment we provide. This is an exciting time to join Hunt & Coombs and we look forward to working with her. She will be a tremendous asset to our disputes team and we are delighted to be able to welcome Rebecca to the firm.

If you need advice on an dispute and would like to have a confidential discussion about it or would like further information, contact our Dispute Resolution Team on 01733 882800 or email [email protected].
